Meghan and I are longtime members of the larger ensemble Madarka and as a duo we’re exploring new material with a more intimate, conversational sound.
Our music is grounded in traditional klezmer, while also reaching outward to reinterpret unexpected sources — from Old-time fiddle to Tom Waits to That Damned Band (Austin, TX) and Rammstein.
We perform throughout New York’s Hudson Valley and have appeared at venues including Tilda's, Tanma and O+ series in Kingston, Rosendale Theatre, the Borscht Belt Museum, and Goshen Chabad, as well as in a children’s klezmer collaboration with musicians from Baltimore.
